PLEASE COME TO MY BLOG
yikes I desperate why wont anyone come to my blog eeeeeeeeeekkkkkkkkkk this is very DEPRESSING. Well right now I am in Del Ray Florida visiting my family for thanksgiving. My birthday was two weekends ago on the 15th, and I HAD A BLAST. But my parents never gave me anything for my birthday I mean COME ON its my SWEET SIXTEEN right. They gave me this card that said the best is yet to come. I was ubber confused and just thought that they were giving me something special for Christmas. What I really wanted for my birthday was an Apple laptop. They are sooooo awesome. Well today I was hanging out by the pool waiting for my sister Erica and her husband Aaron to arrive. When they arrived Erica was carrying two pretty big boxes. I opened the first one and it was a LAPTOP, but not a mac which I was totally fine with instead it was a Eee PC. It is an EXTREMELY small laptop its about the size of a school notebook length and withe. It is so awesome in fact I am typing on it right now.While sitting on the porch of our hotel overlooking the ocean. I am so happy and while I am typing there is some annoying kid singing Christmas songs right below us. WOW is this kid annoying. WHAT IS HIS ISSUE, great now its rudolf the red nosed reindeer. He is literally RIGHT below me. Hey I think he stopped THaNK GOODNESS. Right now I am waiting for my parents to get ready so we can go out to dinner with the family. I love when I get to spend time with my sister cause I have the coolest sister in the world. We almost walked down the whole entire beach today and durring the whole time there was not a moment of silence, we always have something to talk about. WOWOOOOOO the ocean is so beautiful. LAPTOPs are soooo awesome well I am ubber excited for TURKEY DAY and of course the Macys Day Parade. Thats the best I watch it every YEAR YAYA okay i am going to go but PLEASE SOMEONE PLEASE LOOK AT MY BLOG I HAVE BECOME SO DESPERATE THAT I ADDED MYSELF AS A FOLLOWER YOU ARE OFFICALLY LAME IF HAVE NOT SEEN MY BLOG YET COME ONNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN

hApPy HaLlOwEeN
well can you belive its halloween already, well I sure can't.
I had such a great day yesterday i don't know about anyone else but my day was amazing. I took someones senior pictures for our yearbook and they turned out great, and all day everyone was complementing me on them. I will probably post them. Also i studied so hard the other night for this US history test I had yesterday and i got a 100% on it i was so proud of myself. If you didn't know by now our school is sooo small and pathetic that we don't go to school on fridays. I mean not going to school on fridays is amzing dont get me wrong, its just our school that sucks. See our principal won't let us were our halloween costumes because she thinks that it will take up to much class time and we can't waist anymore because a lot of people hate the fact that we have a 4 day school week. Though, one the other hand she will allow us to have some dumb pep-assembly for 10 minutes for our football players who made it to playoffs. Now our football players SUCK and I mean what I say. We just happened to make it to playoffs because of some DUMB Wildcard and supposably we are a responsable team so we somehow went to the playoffs well who really cares cause they are going to lose anyway and sorry to all you football lovers out there but I HATE it. Its the dumbist sport (i think) ever invented. Well for halloween me and colby are dressing up as gladiators how sick is that. And our school does this halloween carnival in the gym for the little kids which starts at 7 so all day i will be getting ready for that. The high schoolers are the ones who run the booths for the little kids, so I am running the marriage booth!! YAY I am super stoked.

ACT
Just took an ACT test yikes it SUCKED. I am sooo tired and I wish I could never do that again but I probably will have to because I gaurantee that I got a REALLY bad score on this one. At least you can take them again right. But they cost money, this one cost money for me because this one is for people who want to take an extra ACT, if I am happy with the score I got on this one then I don't have to take the required one in march or whenever it is. YIKES I hope I get a good score.

PHOTOGRAPHY
I love taking pictures and I think I can say that I am good at it. I am in a photography class in my school, but thats not that big of a deal cause we don't do much in the class and plus there is only me and another girl in the class. I have a Canon PowerShot. I got the camera last year for my 15th birthday right before we took a family sailing trip to the carribean. ( which was a blast talk about that later) I LOVE the camera and pretty much take it everywhere I go. I am the historean for our class and I will probably be the best one they will ever have, I always have my camera with me at every class event, but hey thats my job right. I really didn't get into photography until last year. Though this photography class really helps because I can use the official Adobe Photoshop. Which is amazing you can do so many outstanding things with photoshop. You can create a boreing picture into a piece of artwork. This was not exactly a boreing picture when I took it, but then I touched it up and I LOVE it. This is a picture of my best friend Colby. She is like my model.
This is another picture of Colby, this is during our homecoming parade and we all dressed up as the 101 Dalmations, I love this picture a lot. And actually I never did anything to this picture I took it that way, you see my camera can make certain things not black and white. Like those flowers.
This is a picture of Colby once again and her boyfriend Alex who is also one of my good friends They are sooo cute together and I love taking pictures of both of them because they are so photogenic.
This is another of Colby and Alex, I know this one is kind of random but I love it and of course I did this one on Photoshop.

Camp Wohelo
Ok I will tell a little more about a teenage girls life.
Well I have been going to this camp in Maine for about 6 summers now. The camp is for 2 months and I LOVE IT DEARLY.
Thats were most of my sailing is done. This summer at camp was probably the best for me. I made new friends and had a GREAT time. Are camp is on the shores of Lake Sebago which is a beautiful lake. It is mostly a watersports camp. We sail, caneo, swim the works. One of the biggest events at our camp is called Watersports Day and it's the last week of camp, which is the topic of my story. On a normal day at camp you choose your activities at the beginning and go to them everyday, in some ways its like having a class.
Our camp has 4 units and the units have colors (its like color wars) the colors are blue, yellow, green and red. I would tell you the names of the units but you would not really care cause they are indian names and you probably would not even be able to prounonce them.
So all the units compete against each other on Watersports day. By the way its A HUGE DEAL watersports day is VERY VERY competitive. There is at least 25 campers in each unit, and each unit has a there own giant green caneo that can fit 8 campers. Well those really long green caneos are called war caneos and they are soooo old, they go back to about 30 years ago, so we have to be extremely careful with them. Well anyway those war caneos play a huge role in watersports day.
I am sure you have heard of the sport "crew". That is what are camp does in those war canoes "crew" but we do it a little more different then the actual sport. Are crew is where we do different movements with our paddles, syncronized movements. We also race with the war caneos against the other units. Well just like a normal crew team you have a captain and in our camp we also have a bow. Every morning until like two or three weeks before watersports day you get up early in the morning and pick a crew for yourself and then you try out being captain and calling for your crew team. What I mean by calling is like calling numbers. Each number you call is a different movement with your paddle. Just because you are captain one day does not mean you are captain for watersports day. You get chosen by your unit to be captain of your caneo for watersports day and in the morning you try out to show your crew that you could be captain. Anyone can try out.
Finally normally on a sunday morning and normally after the try out list is done, they vote on who they want to be your leaders for watersports day. (you vote for three of the people out of the whole try out list that you thought should be your leaders) Once you are voted to be one of those three from your unit, the three of you then get your own crew and start to decide which ones you want on your actual crew for watersports day, you also rotate between the three for who will call and who will steer the caneo in the bow and the other person sits on the dock and decides which crew they like and which they don't. Finally after you have done at least 3 rotations between the three of you and after you have seen everyone in the unit on crew, the unit votes again. But this time they vote on who they want to be there captian for watersports day out of the three. Every unit votes for there own captain. Now if you are the captain, then you are the OFFICIAL leader of your unit. The point of this is to pick a captian that the unit thinks will lead them to victory. Well I got voted to be one of the three and then I got voted the captain of my unit ( which was the BLUE unit ). Getting voted captian was probably the greatest joy so far in my life. You see it's a huge deal in our camp. So I was captain and called for the actual watersports day while the other two girls, which one was bow of the "exibition crew" (the syncronized paddleing) while the other one was the bow of "racing crew", I was the captian of both. You also have to realize that we had to pick different crew for both racing and exibition. Well watersports day came and our unit got 2end place which I was really proud of. The green unit got first but its ok. I was sooooo proud of my unit for being 2 and I will never forget that summer. I was 15 last summer and this summer when i go back I will be junior councler and I can't wait, I am so excited.
When I was calling out for my unit during watersports day it was such a great feeling everyone was watching you as you stood up tall in the back of your caneo. Parents are everywhere on the rocks. They wanted each unit to come up with a new stroke that they could po
ssibly replace the one that they had been using for years well they chose our stroke to replace it and we were so happy.

Hello my name is Amanda and gosh I have not written on a blog in a long time, so I guess I have to get use to this.
Well what should I exactly write on my first blog, hmm well I am a student in high school and I love sailing that is most definitly my passion.
I am a junior and I wish I lived in New York City which was where I was born when I was 6 I moved to some dumb cow hick town in the middle of nowhere.
So that is pretty much my life, I am a ski instructor, and sometimes when I get lucky I can teach snowboarding too. My school SUCKS, it has probably the worst education in the country, but whateva.
Man seriously it really has been a long time since I wrote on a blog and I completely forgot what I'm supposed to write about.
I do have about all the programs in the world, like myspace, facebook, flickr, photobucket, picnik...I could really go on...and on... but then you probably would not want to read my blog.
I actually just recently found of about this site because I was reading an article in WIRED about this women Jullian something and she became famous cause she has a those sites and this one and people just fell in love with her I guess. Well I didn't get all those sites because of that article.
